It's nice to hear your voice after a period of silence.

The only thing I'd change is point 4. It seems to me that not only does guilt drive church goers it also drives church leaders too. If the passion of a leader's walk with Christ is measured by the number of followers the leader has then he'd better get a lot of followers or his relationship with God is questioned. So is his ability as a leader. Unless you've been in this place as a leader you have no idea how much guilt this produces.

I don't think there's anything to debate. Reflecting the greatest reflection of The Greatest is not a bad alternative. Wouldn't being like jesus mean reflecting Father... not reflecting Jesus who was reflecting Father?

Great post. But let me stir some debate now. :-) Jesus is the greatest revelation of the character of Father we have. The Scripture seems to testify to this. So why wouldn't we look to reflect Jesus as He reflects Father? If Jesus reflects Father is there any better source for us to reflect Father?

I love this viewpoint of a reflector. I've been thinking about it a lot in the last few days and find it wonderfully encouraging and transforming (although only scratching the surface).

It is such a gripping place. With all its flashes and beauties, she is hard to leave behind. But as you know, once you do, a real peace and joy overflows!

Hey Craig, Glad to see you're on this journey. it seems a natural progression - ultimately the way of peace, light and Truth, which is continuous submission to the Father, who is Love.
