About MyWalkBlog

My name is Craig and I was born in 1960. I grew up in military chapels and then Baptist churches. Somewhere in my college years I became a churchite and began practicing churchianity.

Five years ago my journey as a Christ Follower began to take a very unorthodox turn. It’s led to some very interesting realizations, and admittedly some embryonic thinking as I seek to process all that God is showing me.

MyWalkBlog is a place where I have chosen to attempt to capture and chronicle pieces of that journey as I attempt to process it all (writing seems to help me work through the struggles that often arise as I debate with myself over where I appear to be headed) as well as a place where others who may find that “come follow me” does not take them down the traditional path accepted among the religious today can find some encouragement that they are not alone on their journeys.

The great thing about being on a journey is you don’t have to have arrived to talk about the path. I’ll spend lots of time talking about my travels, but don’t expect much of a determined approach to nailing down the destination… that is other than being all about God and His Kingdom… I just have to figure out what that means along the journey. Come join me…
