Don’t look at this one as historical, though the author has done what appears to be a great job of research and capturing historical elements, but it is an excellent fictional portrayal of what it might have been like sitting in on a gathering of the church in the years just after Jesus ascended. I loved it. Short, simple. Oh, and the book was short and simple too and I loved it as well.
